Shabby Chic

That is what this page reminds me of... shabby chic. It is a picture of me holding my niece who is just a week or so old. And Bit is beside me. It is hard to tell it is Bit, as that curly hair that so many people recognize her by has not come in yet.

The little heart shaped extra is from a bracelet that I harvested the pieces from. I am trying to use more of my stash than I am purchasing new.

Some new stuff in the shop!

I posted some new brooches in the shop. I hope they take off.
Also take a peek at this paper brooch. That's right, paper. Dyed paper is sealed and stiffened then placed on fusible interfacing. Makes for a sturdy brooch that is certainly different.
Also, for those of you on Facebook, I added a fan page.  Please feel free to add and to share. That is a great place to learn more about what we are doing in the shop.
Blessings

Finally Live

The etsy.com shop is finally finally live. Go here to check out the pretty little brooch I made this morning. I had the worst anxiety attack in posting it. It was that leap into the unknown. But now that I have the general idea... Watch out world. There are dolls to post and more things to make.
